Neighborhood Forest

Neighborhood Forest provided over 42,000 free trees to kids across North America. In the process, we engaged over 100,000 volunteers - children, parents, teachers, guardians, and families - in the act of planting trees - beautifying urban and residential areas, reducing our carbon foot print, and instilling in the hearts of our little ones a sense of magic, wonder, and love for trees and the planet.For every tree Neighborhood Forest provides to children, we spawn an estimated 1 hour of volunteer time - 2-4 people spending 20-30 minutes preparing, distributing, and planting their trees. In 2022-2023, Neighborhood Forest's efforts spawned an estimated 100,000 hours of volunteer time.

The organization planted more than 42,000 trees in the current year. Since 2010, the organization has planted 130,000 trees.
