Program areas at Neighborhood Pets
Neighborhood Pets hosts weekly wellness clinics for our clients. Appointments include a free examination by a veterinarian. Treatment provided by the vet team includes vaccinations, microchipping, treatment for ear, eye, and skin infections, dewormer, and bloodwork. In 2022, 47 wellness clinics were hosted, servicing 4,341 Pets.
Neighborhood Pets pet-aid fund provides life saving emergency medical care for Pets. This care is provided by partnering full service vet clinics. In 2022, 133 Pets were provided this life saving care. In addition, over 6,000 calls for help from pet owners.
Neighborhood Pets provides a free spay/neuter program with transportation included for clients' dogs and cats. In 2022, a total of 656 Pets were fixed free of charge (330 dogs and 326 cats).
