#walkfortheRED A year-long program, operating from September to September, is committed to supporting firefighters and their families confronting cancer diagnoses. Through a comprehensive approach of fundraising and donations, we strive to raise awareness and provide essential financial assistance to those in need. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that our heroes and their loved ones receive the support they deserve during their challenging journey. Together, we stand united in our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing this devastating disease. In 2023, the 4 day walk drew hundreds of attendees and spanned from Macomb Township, Michigan to Cascade Township, Michigan. With the funds raised, we awarded grants to 69 firefighters.
Educational Grants - the school grant program extends financial support to young Michigan residents who are passionate about dedicating their lives as a first responder. We commit to providing some financial relief towards the cost of education. Together, we stand role models to show what an honor and duty we have to be first responders. In 2023, we provided assistance to 2 local residents as part of our school grant program.
Individual grant program - extends financial support to individuals and families navigating the aftermath of profound challenges such as the loss of a loved one, terminal illness, or house fires. With a commitment to some a small bit of relief during these trying times, our initiative offers financial aid to those affected. Together, we stand as a beacon of hope, knowing that there are people out there willing to help. In 2023, we awarded grants to 99 individuals in the community.
