Program areas at Neurology and Neuromuscular Care Center

The foundation provides multidisciplinary medical Care to pediatric and adult patients suffering with complex Neuromuscular diseases. Patients will be evaluated and treated by a Neuromuscular specialist, physical therapist, respiratory therapist, social work, dietitian, pulmonologist, and cardiologist. Testing included in the evaluation are electrocardiograms, pulmonary function test and standardized motor scales needed for follow up, prognosis and pharmacological treatment. Continued on schedule o: the foundation also provides emotional support and printed information to patients and their families; educates the public and medical community about the disorders and about the foundation. The foundation raises funds to foster standard of Care, prevention, and treatment of Neuromuscular conditions like duchenne muscular dystrophy (dmd), spinal muscular atrophy (sma), myasthenia gravis (mg), and neuropathies.
