Program areas at Nevada Fire Chiefs Association

Assist fire-service agencies throught Nevada in recruitment and retention of volunteer firefighters on a statewide basis. During the current fiscal year 189 new volunteer firefighters were recruited statewide.
Throughout Nevada, provide professional intervention and education for children and teenagers who start fires, including their parents, using professional counseling, education, community services and referrals to additional resources.
Provide Fire safety training & information seminars for Fire and other related services personnel. More than 1,200 individuals participated in the annual training and safety conference during the current fiscal year.
During the fiscal year the organization gave 1,000 to the Nevada firefighter memorial, to honor the memory of, and recognize the service given by, fallen firefighters in the state of Nevada.
