Designed by women, for women, it connects participants with the resources they need to succeed in a small group environment that is supportive, inclusive and affirming. Women graduate from this six-week program with a customized Career plan and the opportunity for increased financial stability. Yes program highlights: -goal setting -Career exploration -self-marketing and personal branding -self-compassion and care
Other programs: amplifying diverse voices in leadership: become a community advocate through l.e.a.d. (leadership.education. Advocacy. Development) board training for women. This 10-week program teaches women to cultivate their leadership potential and pursue a life of passion and purpose. In this program, discover how to: -identify and define your leadership style -develop your strategic planning and effective communication skills -understand protocol integral to serving on nonprofit boards. -build cultural competencies that support advocacy and service get ready to lend your voice to growing the quality and capacities of nonprofit organizations in central Ohio thrive in your next chapter: matureworks world of work week is an in-person Career development program for jobseekers 55 and older who want to personally and professionally thrive in the next chapter of their lives and are empowered to upskill and reskill to find and sustain meaningful employment. World of work week highlights: -redefine your core work values -create and update your online presence -identify your unique transferable skills -refine your resume & interview techniques -research New resources and job opportunities -network with central Ohio employers and industry leaders in diverse fields personal & professional development workshops and client services: workshop wednesdays these one-hour virtual seminars cover a diverse range of personal and professional development topics aimed at helping people create a New path to self-sufficiency and a successful Career, while gaining a diverse network of resources. Individual Career counseling New Directions Career Center clients can work with our licensed professionals to identify careers that match their work skills, interests and preferences and develop an action plan that empowers them to reach their goals. Gather to grow these 90-minute workshops allow our graduates to continue their personal and professional growth in a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment where they share resources and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood. Financial wellness we provide our clients with services that promote financial wellness and enhance skills such as budgeting, saving, managing debt and developing financial literacy.
Educate. Empower. Elevate: e3 is college preparation and training that helps women further their education and increase their financial independence. In this 10-week program, participants are empowered to do the following: -set educational and financial goals -plan an educational track that leads to improved financial stability -use available resources to finance college and/or training certification programs -engage in self-care practices that sustain wellness and allow better focus on goals
