Program areas at New England Biolabs Foundation
Capacity-building of grantees - the New England Biolabs Foundation, in collaboration with partner institutions, conducts capacity-building programs that provide training and networking opportunities for its grantees in its target regions. In 2023, in partnership with creative action institute, these actvities included: two in-person workshops in guatemala for grantees from guatemala, honduras, belize, nicaragua and costa rica; and one in-person workshop in peru for grantees from peru and ecuador. These individuals also participated in a series of virtual training modules. In addition, 10 nebf grantees from these countries were provided with coaching and mini-grants to implement 10 creative advocacy practicums in communities in guatemala, honduras, nicaragua, peru, ghana and cameroon.
