Program areas at New Hampshire Coalition of Recovery Residences

Certified that 90 New Hampshire recovery residences meet nationally accepted NARR standards to ethically operate and provide safe, home-like, peer-led recovery residences that promote long term recovery and successful integration into the community.
Administered a housing assistance program for individuals in recovery entering NHCORR certified recovery residences providing housing assistance to 847 individuals. Housing assistance allows people to enter recovery housing and covers costs until the resident finds employment and starts paying his own way. Without housing assistance, many people return to their community of origin and are unable to maintain recovery.
Conducted approximately 50 training sessions to educate recovery house operators and those interested in the recovery community on best practices as set for by the National Alliance of Recovery Residences. Topics included medication assisted recovery, disability, fighting NIMBY issues, co-occurring conditions, financing, underserved populations, LGBTQ+ challenges, etc.
