Program areas at New Hanover-Pender County Medical Society

Members provide community service through programs organized by the Society that includes maintaining a speakers' bureau for civic clubs and churches and supporting an annual scholarship to a pre-med student. Member physicians provide free Medical services at a local open-door clinic for those demonstrating need.
There were no phyical screenings provided to student athletes in New hanover County schools during 2020, as typcially provided, due to covid-19 procedures.
