Program areas at New Health Programs Association
New Health provides integrated medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral Health services targeted to serve rural residents of ferry, stevens, and pend oreille counties. Primary care services are provided by physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, dentists and counselors. In 2022, New Health's 7 medical sites and 3 dental sites provided 29,821 medical encounters, 18,231 dental encounters, 1,275 behavioral Health encounters, and 2,242 naturopath encounters for 18,143 total patients. New Health received funding from the american rescue plan act to develop a mobile clinic in order to better serve their remote rural communities. The mobile unit has a medical exam room, dental operatory, reception area, restroom and wheelchair lift. The unit will make medical and denal care accessbile across three countes once it is in operation.
