Program areas at New Health Programs Association
New Health provides integrated medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral Health services targeted to serve rural residents of ferry, stevens, and pend oreille counties. Primary care services are provided by physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, dentists and counselors. In 2023, New Health's 8 medical sites and 4 dental sites provided 35,562 medical encounters, 15,785 dental encounters, 994 behavioral Health encounters, and 581 naturopath encounters for 17,098 total patients. New Health received funding from the american rescue plan act to develop a mobile clinic in order to better serve their remote rural communities. The mobile unit has a medical exam room, dental operatory, reception area, restroom and wheelchair lift. The unit will make medical and denal care accessbile across three countes once it is in operation.
