Program areas at New Hope Pregnancy Resource Center
Joan of Arc Maternity Home - shelter for up to 4 moms and their babies that had a soft open on July1, 2023. Expenses include rent, utilities, furnishings, appliances, safety systems, insurance, supplies and services. Grants are for food subsidies given to the moms.
Childcare grants - subsidies for childcare care to allow moms to work or go to school. 7 clients.
Home care grants - subsidies to allow clients and their babies to live in their homes and work toward self-sufficiency. Includes subsidies for rent, utilities, furnishings & telephone. 16 clients.
Baby supply grants - Provide baby items including diapers, formula, clothing, car seats, highchairs, pack-n-plays, etc. to all the moms in the program. The items are new or gently used and are mostly donated by various churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals. Grants are generally for items not in stock. More than 120 families were provided supplies and most were done so monthly. The other Expenses were primarily for bags and tags and some payments for transportation to get the moms to and from our facility.
Education Grants - subsidies for educational scholarships to advance their employment opportunity. 2 clients received grants
