Children's advocacy centers (cac) is the one place that provides a safe, child-focused environment where law enforcement, child protection services, prosecution, medical and mental health professionals, and victim advocates share information and develop a coordinated strategy that seeks justice, while also working to meet the unique needs of each child and family. Njca provides training to the professionals on the best methods in serving their clients, guides cac leaders in creating and maintaining state-of-the-art facilities, and promotes public awareness of the services offered by cacs as well as their impact in helping children and families heal
