New Jersey Council of County Colleges - The New Jersey Council of County Colleges is the State association for New Jersey's Community College system. Created by a statute as an independent trustee-headed organization that joins the leadership of Trustees and Presidents. The Council represents New Jersey's Community Colleges with State and Local Governments and it performs Statewide coordinating fuctions including distribution of State Aid and allocation of Capital Funding.
The Joint Purchasing Consortium coordinates with member colleges to effect substantial economics through the joint purchase of goods and services.
NJ Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development - The Consortium was formed in 2004 by the Community Colleges as part of the Council of County Colleges. The purpose of the Consortium is to utilize the resources of the Community Colleges to develop and deliver education and training programs Statewide in support of Workforce and Economic Development. The Consortium is directed to seek New Jersey customized training and literacy grants plus other grants in support of that purpose.
