Program areas at New Life Ministries
New Life Ministries, Inc., trains and underwrites volunteers and staff in ukraine and latvia, that travel to and minister in orphanages, 20 currently in ukraine, once a month. In addition, providing material help to 20 orphanages in ukraine across 5 regions - snovsk village orphanage, chernigov city orphanage, basan village orphanage, gorodnya village orphanage, komarivka village orphanage, berezna orphanage, kmitivska orphanage, berezhany orphanage for children with cerebral palsy, nove selo orphanage, fastivtec orphanage, vorsel orphanage, bolgrod orphanage for children who are hearing impaired, artstyz - 2 family-style orphanage, bilhodrod orphanage, vyshevichi orphanage, fastiv orphanages (2), sosnytsia village orphanage, borzna village orphanage, and the children's department of the izmail city orphanage. Material help includes medicines, disinfectant supplies, food, clothes, beds, wardrobes, kitchen appliances, back-up generators for when power goes off, and fuel to run them, playground equipment, and other physical help orphanage directors request. For example, hot water hearts, renovation of orphanage buildings, school supplies, chairs and desks, and renovations of bomb shelters, showers and bathrooms. In addition, before the war, week-long dental clinics have been provided for orphans and orphanages there, including dental work by dentists volunteering from the us, fluoride treatments, toothbrushes and toothpaste along with dental hygiene instruction.
The fresh start program provides transition help for orphans who have "aged out" of the orphanage system, but who want to continue their education. Transition apartments, funds for food and utilities, educational expenses, school supplies, transportation, etc. Are provided for those who want to continue their education in either training schools to learn a marketable skill or even university studies if the orphan has received their diploma and can pass entrance exams.
New Life Ministries sponsors summer camps for orphans in the western ukrainian town of truskovyets which also includes lifeskills lessons designed to help older orphans prepare for when they "age out" of the orphanage system.
Travel and various program expenses used for all exempt purposes
