"advanced organizational development: -completed implementation of the unmhsc/j&j grant which focused on support for birthing hospitals and Perinatal care providers in rural areas of New Mexico. -managed funding received from aim supplemental, united healthcare, and university of New Mexico health sciences center/lmp. -engaged with community-led birth equity organizations following the november 2022 nmpc educational series, leading to conversations about board recruitment for nmpc. -supporting the enrolled 27 of 29 nm birthing hospitals in our maternal safety initiative as part of the alliance for innovation on maternal health (aim), which includes 6 critical access hospitals and 3 indian health services facilities. -continued maternal safety initiatives under the previously awarded multi- year nm doh contract. -obtained commitments from enrolled hospitals to share data on implementation of best practices and maternal outcomes. Continued ongoing data analysis for quality improvement purposes. Quality improvement advisor conducted monthly/quarterly data coaching calls with enrolled hospitals including key findings on implementation barriers. -presented on nmpc aim maternal safety initiative progress to the aim national network and the national network of Perinatal quality collaboratives (nnpqc). -continuing and improving upon nmpc outreach team on-site, place-based trainings with a range of multidisciplinary providers as volunteers to assist with trainings. Visits were completed in raton, gallup, silver city, grants, socorro, and los alamos. -conducted tele-mentoring sessions for an average of 80 participants twice monthly on maternal safety best practices through and in collaboration with the improving Perinatal health project echo. The aim caring for pregnant and postpartum people with substance use disorder work is continuing, as well as sessions around lived experienced and continuing education credits for pharmacy, social work, psychology, and community health workers in addition to our offerings for medicine, nursing, and midwifery. -hosted the virtual and in-person nmpc educational series, including virtual sessions on lived experience, obstetric emergencies and levels of care, quality improvement, and health equity. The series culminated in an in-person event in albuquerque with keynote speaker, jennie joseph, founder of commonsense birth presenting on health equity and Perinatal safe zones. -continued the monthly multidisciplinary nmpc substance use disorder in pregnancy workgroup. The group reviews the aim substance use disorder (sud) bundle curriculum and offered the first moud for ob training at the women's health conference in albuquerque in october of 2022.
