Program areas at NMSPA

To develop and improve accounting education and promote harmony and fellowship among the accounting and related professions in the state of New Mexico: held two day annual meeting with educational sessions including presenters from New Mexico state agencies.
To compile and distribute to the members information for their benefit: the Society maintains a web page with information pertinent to our members.
To develop and improve accounting education: the Society held various educational seminars throughout the year. These seminars were recognized by the New Mexico state accountancy board as meeting the standard for certified Public Accountants continuing education requirements. Topics included current tax law changes. Seminar books were also sold at the seminars, and association member were able to take seminars online.
