Program areas at New Orleans Right To Life Educational Foundation
>>> proudly pro-life gala attended by 600 persons despite covid-19 concerns <<< New Orleans Right To Life Educational Foundation (nortlef) continued its co-sponsorship of the proudly pro-life gala with Louisiana Right To Life Educational committee Inc (lartlec). In january of 2022, the two organizations hosted a wonderful event To raise support for pro-life issues and raise awareness for Life. Despite covid-19 concerns, 600 people attended the gala. A special focus on adoption was prevalent at the event as the upcoming movie "lifemark" was discussed by filmmakers stephen and alex kendrick. For the organizational assistance provided by nortlef and its director, nortlef received a grant of $20,000 from event proceeds To be used To further its pro-life mission. It also co-hosted with lartlec and the archdiocese of New Orleans a "mass for Life" at st. dominic church in n.o. To pray for moms and babies in the greater n.o. Area and encourage the participation of the 300 attendees in efforts that suport pregnant and parenting mothers.
>>> BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN PROVIDES REALITY ABOUT ABORTION IN AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY >>> FROM JUNE THROUGH NOVEMBER 2022, NORTLEF SPONSORED EDUCATIONAL BILLBOARDS EDUCATING THE CITY ABOUT ABORTION IN THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY. THE BILLBOARDS DISPLAYED AN UNBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHED IN AN ULTRASOUND AND A BABY WHO IS TWO YEARS OLD, WITH THE TEXT "ME," "STILL ME," SHOWCASING THE REALITY THAT NO MATTER YOUR SIZE, AGE, OR LOCATION, YOU ARE ARE THE SAME PERSON NOW AS YOU WERE IN YOUR MOTHER'S WOMB. THESE BILLBOARDS ALSO PROMOTED LARTLEC'S "FINDHELPLa.COM" PREGNANCY SUPPORT RESOURCE TO THOSE IN THE COMMUMNITY WHO MAY BE PREGNANT AND NEED HELP AND SUPPORT.
>>> "footprints for Life" helps build culture of Life in our children <<< footprints for Life is an Educational initiative in 2022 for grade-school age children in the New Orleans area. This program builds on a Foundation of love, truth and dignity. The program covers all of the culture of Life topics age-appropriately, and incorporates the spiritual and corporal works of mercy into the study of these issues. Approximately 10 schools and 1,500 students were impacted in 2022 by this project.

Oftentimes, low-income families have To choose between diapers for their baby and food at their dinner table. We help fill the gap by giving a small boost To families in need.
