New Rochelle Council on the Arts stimulates and encourages the study and presentation of performing and fine arts, fosters community arts, and serves as a portal for New Rochelle residents. It hosts four live exhibitions in the Rotunda Gallery at City Hall, with up to 400 people attending in-person or virtually, along with receptions featuring artists. The Rotunda gallery exhibits are curated throughout the year based on a theme, with selected works from submissions creating a show.

Program areas at New Rochelle Council on the Arts

Artfest - a 3-day festival of the Arts in New Rochelle and pelham, featuring performances (both indoor and outdoor) of music, dance, theatre & movies; exhibits & open studios of local artists; walking tours of public art and historic sites; trolley tours; and hands-on Arts projects for adults and children. the total of people who attended the exhibits were approximately 5,000 and approximately 100 volunteers.
Rotunda gallery exhibits - a series of 4-5 exhibits throughout the year in the rotunda gallery of New Rochelle city hall. Artists are invited to submit works based on a theme. the gallery committee selects from the submitted pieces to create a show. There is no entry fee for nrca members; non-members pay a $35 entry fee to become members. An opening reception is held for each exhibit and usually musical entertainment is provided.the total of people who attended the exhibits were 2,000 and 12 volunteers.
Summer concerts - 8 weekly outdoor concerts at hudson park band shell in New Rochelle featuring live bands and singers in all musical genres: pop, rock, jazz, opera, latin, etc. the total of people who attended the exhibits were approximately 4,000 and 20 volunteers.
Other program services:the organization hosts other smaller programs to cultivate, promote, foster, sponsor, develop and encourage the understanding, taste and love of the Arts and artistic abilities.
