New Salem Educational Initiatives is a tutoring program that benn serving the community of the Twin Cities for over 30 years. Program Director, Gary Davison and the volunteer tutors has been dedicated in giving students and adults the proper understanding of education skill and prepare them to meet the required MN Basic Competency Skills Exam. Our Tuesday Tutoring program give studentan opportunity to get individual assistant with their homework. Helping adults attain their GED and preparing student for college.
New Salem Youth Program promotes positive self awareness and empowerment with our dedicated mentors. Salem Youth mentors prepare our youths with the ability to create thru expression and get a understanding of their spirituality and identifying positive choices. New Salem Youths are able to see positive goals and make choices that improves their self esteem, peer pressure that give confidence to move in better lifestyle journey.
New Salem Food program has been preparing meals for our seniors and disabled. The program begin during COVID to provide seniors with meal and bag of groceries during the pandemic.
