Program areas at New Vision Foundation

Provided coding and digitial literacy classes to twin cities schools as well as the greater Minnesota cities of st. Cloud, willmar, and rochester. Programs were offered to middle school and high school students, young adults ages 19-35 as well as older adults above 35. New Vision served more than 1,200 participants statewide.
New Vision Foundation became an official community partner with both minneapolis and st paul public schools. We increased the number of schools having our coding classes from just one school in 2017, to 5 schools in 2018. Total number of students served increased from just 32 in 2017 to 130 students in 2018.
New Vision Foundation received grant funding from 7 different foundations in 2018. In 2017 we received funding from only 2 foundations.
Abroad New Vision was able to connect 30 students with their peers in kenya through the epal progam.
