New York Center for Liver Transplantation

The Center provides collaboration between Liver transplant professionals, data sharing and peer review to enhance the quality of Liver transplant services and provide accurate and current information about Liver Transplantation to nys transplant professionals, recipients, donors and families. Accomplishments:- strategic planning to reduce regional disparities in access to Liver Transplantation- increase supply, quality and use of organs in nys - an expanded criteria donor project focused on Liver donation objectives- opo communication and initiatives with the New York cardiothoracic transplant consortium, Inc.- living donor recipient outcome review, manage living Liver donor registry, living donor education
