Program areas at New York City Junior Volleyball Association
Teams - nyc juniors fields competitive youth Volleyball teams, with a total of approximately 200 players. Teams train 3 times per week november-april (through july for some teams) and travel regionally and nationally to attend tournaments. Expenses include gym rentals, coaches pay,uniforms, equipment, travel and administrative costs. Families pay fees for the season to cover their child's training and travel. Donations are accepted to provide financial aid for families who cannot afford the season fees.
Camps and clinics - youth Volleyball camps and clinics are held throughout the year to provide training opportunity to the broader community. Weekend clinics are held periodically year-round,and several weeks of day camp are held during the summer. Revenue from these programs covers operating costs and helps support financial aid offerings.
