Mentorship: increase exposure and visibility to technology professionals with similar lived experiences and cultural backgrounds to position them as career coaches and mentors to help students accomplish short-term and long-term career goals and growth. Networking & access: develop relationships with human resources and talent acquisition teams overseeing career opportunities to ensure consideration of students for competitive internships and full-time jobs in the technology sector.aot bolsters our long-term impact by leveraging human capital to bridge opportunity gaps. By collaborating with Tech sector leaders and companies, we co-create programs that teach technical and design concepts through real-world projects, resulting in internships, apprenticeships, and full-time Tech jobs. In addition to providing students with meaningful real-world work experiences, aot alumni benefit from a robust mentorship support network and social-emotional tools. These resources help them navigate the complexities of workplace environments, particularly in settings with dominant power structures.
