Our purpose is to promote Technology and Engineering education in New York State. We hold an annual conference and regular board meetings either via phone conference or face to face. We keep up with nysed and the changes they consider promoting those we feel are beneficial to our field and speaking in opposition to those we feel are not conducive to promoting Technology education. We promote teacher recruitment. We unsuccessfully fought a State ed change in middle school tech ed requirements that significantly weakened our stake in the mandate for middle school tech ed.
