New York State Tourism Industry Association (NYSTIA)

The organization conducts a cooperative advertising program in which about 30% of its members participate. We have placements in publications across the service area of the members.the organization conducts a cooperative trade show program, which displays the New York State Tourism product through an exhibit booth and brochure distribution through the service area. This includes participation with i love ny, nys parks, and nys canal authority in appropriate markets.the organization conducts educational programming as a presenter of the empire State Tourism conference and through its annual meeting. Guest speakers and educational programming, presentations, displays, and networking are provided to the members.the organization sponsors a scholarship program and has events which raise revenues to award to travel and Tourism related students and programs in New York State.
