Newburyport Choral Society provides cultural enrichment and enjoyment to residents of Newburyport and surrounding North Shore communities through sacred and secular musical performances. The society promotes music with a winter concert held at Belleville Church in December, which is attended by approximately 1100 people, as well as a spring concert at the same venue in May with around 1000 people in attendance. Additionally, the society offers scholarships to music students.
