Funding to NHHS for Sterile Processor -NHHS Sterile Processing Safety Improvement - NHHS needs to pu rchase a large instrument washer for sterile processing in Su rgery. The department currently has one 1 small washer for instruments but an increase in orthopedic gynecologic and o verall surgery cases has created a need for a second and larg er washer. Currently it takes two 2 days of staff time ste rile processing using the smaller washer and there is no bac kup washer if the smaller unit breaks. Sterilization is the m ost important step in securing safe patient surgery.

Funding to NHHS for Reopening OB Unit Equipment

Healthy Kids Snack Bags. Children from local schools receive a bag of nutritious snacks once per week during the school year. The purpose is to prevent hunger and promote healthy eating habits.
