Newspaper in Education Institute (NIEI) provides curriculum materials to newspaper educational programs across the nation to distribute to local teachers. This program reaches thousands of classrooms and millions of students. (300 newspapers across America reaching thousands of classrooms.
Community Composting Project: In connection with environmental education, we partnered with the town of Cheverly, MD and with New Hope Educational Institute Inc. to provide residents with 300 low-cost compost bins to reduce the amount of waste going into landfills.
