Program areas at Next Generation Nepal
Trafficking prevention - we support improved educational access and quality in one rural mountain district as a prevention effort in the root causes of vulnerability to trafficking.
Children home - support for one home for children rescued from trafficking. The home provides food, shelter, and education for up to 50 children. In two provinces in Nepal, ngn delivers awareness programs on child trafficking to families, communities and local and regional authorities through radio jingles, posters, street dramas and local community meetings in the high trafficking areas of Nepal province 6 (formerly humla and mugu districts) which is a trafficking-source community.
Reunification - we support the work of searching for families of trafficked children and reconnecting and monitoring family reunification.
