Program areas at NexusB4T
B4t promotion: educated and shared best practices with students, business professionals, churches and other organizations while encouraging them to start or partner with a b4t business. Held a very well attended b4t expo in austin. Paid for printing a batch of workship book.
Recruitment: provided a pathway, training, and consulting for future b4t workers and their organizations that desire hands-on experience in economically disadvantaged communities. 5 individuals went through the student worker program.
Coach/mentor/loans/huddle: educated, mentored, encouraged and shared best practices with those involved in b4t businesses. Coaches and mentors meet regularly with b4ters and also meet regularly for training and to prepare them to help b4t workers excel in their businesses and in their ability to transform the lives of those they encounter. The Open USA loan funds have supported b4t businesses with loans providing capital to b4ters. Also assisted with logistics for a huddle event among b4ters.
