Program areas at NoirUnited International
This program provided mental health support to displaced students recovering from the war in Ukraine hosting therapy and community healing sessions and connecting them with resources. In addition the programs focused on providing emergency assistance ie. food housing gift cards and other materials and empowering students towards a path of resilience and recovery.
The program focused on conducting community-based research and developing advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of the need for humanitarian aid to marginalized communities affected by crises. It also includes the monitoring and evaluation of goods and services provided to recipients measuring the impact and effectiveness of programs.
This program provided educational support to displaced students from Ukraine and connected them with resources for professional development. Educational support included items such as scholarships for tuition fees school supplies and other associated costs. Team members identified educational opportunities for students and assisted in applications to universities colleges and programs.
