North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT)

Voter engagement:the voter engagement program has regularly conducted get out the vote initiatives, registered 1604 voters, and reached over 10,000 people at get out the vote events and public-facing community gatherings. Ncaat outreach was conducted both in english and in-language and included reaching more than 262,000 Asian Americans through direct mailers; 33,553 by phone calls; 23,787 by text messages; and 4,026 door knocks. (continued on schedule o)youth engagement:the youth engagement program has fostered civic engagement and political participation through one-day workshops, multi-day summer leadership trainings, as well as paid internships, ambassador positions, and fellowship opportunities. In 2022, ncaat developed and "graduated" 80 youth leaders through our programs, including 32 youth ambassadors, 1 intern, and 1 fellow. Ncaat has also sustained a base of 1,637 youth members and established a network of college and high school organizations with students who carry out voter registration initiatives at their schools.community engagement:the community engagement program has held space for community gatherings, legal review in citizenship clinics, and educational events. Ncaat has also worked with local cultural and community groups to engage their members on voter registration drives, voter educational workshops, and informational forms.
