Program areas at North Coast Food Web
Online Farmer's Market is a year round, local food market supporting small farmers and food makers within 100 miles of Astoria. The market increases local food accessibility for low-income community members through accepting SNAP and FDNP payments. The market currently supports 50 local food vendors and over 400 customers annually.
Food business support services: We offer food business support services to help beginning and small food businesses scale up to financial sustainability. These services assist with packaging and food safety compliance, product pricing and marketing, navigating licensing and insurance and more. During the year about 75 food businesses were supported by this program.
Incubator Kitchen: Our kitchen business incubation and education program supports small and starting food businesses to get established, providing both hard infrastructure and direct business support. In 2023, 50 businesses utilized our facilities.
