Program areas at North Dakota High School Coaches Association
The ndhsca holds an annual state Coaches convention in which various members are given "coach of the year" awards for lifetime accomplishments. There are also member Coaches who are inducted into the ndhsca hall of fame. The annual convention is held in conjunction with the state's coaching clinic, which provides education for Coaches.
The ndhsca held a football coaching clinic in april 2024 to help educate football Coaches throughout the country on various coaching techniques. This is the third year hosting this clinic. The ndhsca also held a nine-man football clinic in april 2024 to help the nine-man football Coaches with their preparation. This is the first year of the nine-man football clinic.
The ndhsca - gelaine orvik scholarship honors three North Dakota High School graduating seniors, who will attend a North Dakota college or university with the intention of becoming a High School coach. The ndhsca also honors six North Dakota High School graduating seniors with scholarships and the requirement is they need to be a son or daughter of a High School coach.
