Program areas at North Dakota Petroleum Foundation

The ndpf continued its education programs, which included hosting 40 teachers for a teacher education seminar. This seminar provides teachers with information about the oil and gas industry and how physics, geology, math, science and the trades are used. Teachers also receive hands-on activities and lessons that they can take back to the classroom. The ndpf also partnered with other organizations to host "tool trades torque tech (t4) summits. In 2022, these summits brought more than 4,200 students from North Dakota to participate in hands-on activities and demonstrations related to the energy industries and skilled trades.the ndpf's outreach efforts included hosting community events and partnering with other nonprofit organizations including, but not limited to, operation warm and dream center bismarck. Work continued on the ndpf's oil and gas history project in North Dakota.
Scholarships to college students who are taking courses related to the oil industry.
Planting for the future: through its planting for the future program, the North Dakota Petroleum Foundation planted more than 75,000 trees for conservation and habitat. This brings the total number of trees planted since 2018 to 209,000.
North Dakota oil history project: program dedicated to tellign and preserving the history of oil and gas industry in the state of North Dakota and honoring the men and women-both past and present-who helped build it. It is available to the general public.
