Program areas at North Side Movement
Our longest service to the community is hosting our head to toe program. This program, provides school-aged children with a free haircut, under clothes, and a haircut to start the school year prepared. At this event we have over 2,500 people in attendance and serve around 500 children.
We connected the new split ac units that were purchased for the northern classrooms in 2021 to our generator.
We purchased school desks and other supplies to renovate classrooms inside of the community center.
Utilities were a large part of our programs expenses along with the providing weekly classes to our community.
