Program areas at North Tahoe Arts
The ARTsian Shop is a program of the North Tahoe Arts with a mission of serving professional artists in the region through promotion, marketing, networking and art sales opportunities. North Tahoe Arts has two locations for professionsl arrtists in Tahoe City and Kings Beach to further our mission of serving professional artists to a larger audience. In 2023, both Artisan shops served 38 regional artists with a total audience of 15,000.
The Kids Art Camp program provided by North Tahoe Arts is an art focused camp for kids aged 5-12. A variety of projects are taught with a focus on tactile, natural, recycled and fine art materials. The Kids Art Camp provides five, week-long art camp classses to over 100 children.
The Exhibits Program is deeply tied to the mission of North Tahoe Arts which is to support the arts in the Tahoe region through exposure, education and participation. The program serves emerging as well as fully trained, experienced artists in the region with opportunities to professionally show their artwork to a wide audience of 15,000.
