North Texas Metroplex Childrens Choirs

Texas Youth Chorale TYC is a select choir that is open to all middle school children to audition but generally feeds from North Texas Children's Choir NTCC. Due to the lingering effects of Covid and the significant impact on the choral community our numbers continue to be below pre-covid levels. However we were still able to provide a rich choral experience and the choir was able to perform a number of times in the community

North Texas Children's Choir NTCC is a festival that starts with rehearsals in the fall and ends with a finale performance once a year at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas TX. NTCC provides high-level artistic programs for participating children showing them a vision for their future in choral music. The vision of NTCC is to provide elementary and middle school aged children of North Texas with a choral musical experience that exceeds the daily classroom setting. This is achieved by selecting challenging repertoire and performing in a venue of professional quality with a professional guest conductor.
