The organization owns and operates a recreational center in north Philadelphia for youths in the local community. In addition to athletic activities, the center provides students in grades 5-12 with the opportunity to learn the sport of squash and receive intensive academic and life-skills instruction.
North10, Philadelphia is committed to improving life outcomes for the community members of hunting park and east tioga neighborhoods through its four pillars of education, economic development, housing, and wellness. 3890 north 10th street, l.l.c. Was incorporated on july 29, 2005, for the purpose of transforming an abandoned septa repair station at 3890 north 10th street into a model community gathering space, constructing the lenfest center (the "center"). Located in the hunting park section of north Philadelphia the 52,000 square-foot lenfest center was designed as a safe and welcoming community- focused hub offering year-round recreational, educational, and other resources for neighborhood children and adults to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
