Program areas at NorthBridge College Success Program

NorthBridge was founded on the principle that high school and college aged young adults with learning differences can excel in post secondary education with specialized and individualized support. NorthBridge provides students with a multi layered support system that focuses on both academic success and personal development. Our programs, High School Success, College Success, Test Preparation, and Career Preparation, work with students to make their vision of the future a reality. Using our student centered coaching strategies, excellent talent, and best practices, NorthBridge College Success Program is a community leader in making college possible, goals attainable, and a meaningful, fulfilling future a reality for college, vocational, and high school students with learning differences. The program includes individualized academic advisement, weekly academic support sessions, individual mentoring sessions, student success workshops, and coordinated social events. As a preferred vendor with Vocational Rehabilitation Services, NorthBridge has been working with students referred to us by the state to ensure they are meeting their academic goals on a weekly and semesterly basis. By tracking all student progress through weekly grade updates, students and staff observe the incremental steps required for college success. NorthBridge is also a preferred partner with Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation, providing mentoring and academic support to foster youth and young adults. Since our inception in 2011, we have served over 270 students at 21 community colleges and universities, 4 high schools, and 3 trade schools. For Fiscal Year 2023, we served 50 students learning differences through mentoring, tutoring, and coaching.
