Funded program areas at nemwi include: the great lakes Washington program; the Mississippi river basin program; the water policy and water conservation initiative; and the congressional policy primer and orientation programs. Other program areas not currently funded but which have senior fellow and research intern support include: the regional economic recovery and workforce development initiative; the water affordability initiative; the climate change impacts initiative; and the fiscal policy and state and local public finance initiative.
