Program areas at Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire
The Farm Share Program connects low-income NH individuals, families, and seniors with certified organic NOFA-NH member farms to provide them with reduced cost community supported agriculture CSA shares consisting of a seasons worth of local, fresh farm products. Since 2017, 13 certified organic partners have provided discounted CSA shares to 140 low-income NH residents.
Education Activism NOFA-NH is dedicated to building a community of organic food activists and educated consumers to help support New Hampshires local organic farming community. Organic farming is important to creating a sustainable future because the practices of organic agriculture help to reverse climate change, restore vitality to the soil, and build healthy communities for all living creatures.
