It serves to create a sense of community in an industry that primarily works in remote locales in the region's forests by offering profiles of Loggers and sawmillers in the region, by updating readers on safety procedures and tips to help them avoid injury, by providing timely reporting on pending legislation regarding the industry and by providing an avenue for reader comment and discussion.
