The stepping up award was designed for our members to acknowledge and show appreciation for the signatory union employee who consistently exemplifies the characteristics of leadership, professionalism, dedication to his/her workmates, integrity, and pride in his/her skills. The winners are selected by each member company based on the qualifications listed above.

Member services - to help our members with pension/trust issues,grievance resolution, arbitration, apprentice training, etc.

Annual directors dinner - to honor those that have volunteered theirtime during the year as a board of director.

Dc star grant program - the grants provide support for a structured contractor safety program that includes occupational safety and health research and information and access to an experienced osha consultant to provide monthly consultation and advocacy services to our glazing and Painting contractor companies; an online harassment prevention training in english and spanish for field and office employees to address the mandated harassment training required by California senate bill 1343 (sb1343); a skill up training program for estimators and project managers that includes blueprint reading, paint estimating, paint project management, glass project management and leadership and soft skills classes.
