Direct legal assistance Program- For the Fiscal Year 2022/ 2023 The organization provided immigration related legal assistance. We fielded approximately 20,000 phone inquiries, represented 35 individuals in removal proceedings, handled 408 legal immigration consultations and processed close to 400 affirmative immigration applications. The Organization conducted operations in person and remotely throughout the fiscal year.
Civic and ESL Education- This program helped prepare students for the USCIS citizenship interview and provided them with classes that helped improve their english. Approximately 250 students were served.
Workforce Development- The Program provided construction site safety training education, outreach and referral services for construction workers and subcontractors. The Programs Worker Center provided a dignified space for day laborers to meet, obtain referrals to jobs or legal services to address issues such as wage theft.
