Program areas at NVTC
Events, program and member services: nvtc hosted two industry summits (artificial intelligence and cyber security), four awards events (data center awards, cyber awards, tech 100, and cfo awards), and over 40 community of interest and networking events. Leading industry experts attract an engaged audience with some events exceeding over 400 attendees. Nvtc offers members network opportunities, educational programming, and member benefits.
Public policy - nvtc's legislative agenda is informed by the executive committee and the nvtc strategic plan to advance nvtc's mission. The legislative agenda is supported with lobbying efforts by nvtc including events, meetings and programs to support our public policy and legislative efforts. Approximately 13.8% of nvtc membership dues support legislative efforts. Fy2023 state lobbying and legislative advocacy efforts helped achieve several initiatives in support of Virginia's tech industry and nvtc's legislative agenda, which includes competitiveness and economic growth, stem education and workforce, and infrastructure.
