Northwest Ottawa Recreation Authority builds community through people, parks, and recreation opportunities. It creates a fun and safe space for the community to recreate together. NORA offers various programs for youth and adults with an annual average of 5,000 participants. Scholarships are available for kids to participate in any NORA program through the Youth Scholarship Fund. Additionally, NORA runs a recreational summer school program for over 200 youth in two locations during June, July, and August. Seasonal staff is hired to operate this program.

NORA Recreation Programs: NORA offers a variety of different programs for youth and adults; the annual average number of participants is 5,000. Scholarships for youth are available through the NORA Youth Scholarship Fund so a child can participate in any activity if desired.
NORA Recreational Summer School: NORA runs a recreational summer school program for youth during the months of June, July and August. This program runs at two locations in the area on weekdays and serves over 200 youth. NORA hires seasonal staff for this program.
