The Northwest Post Anesthesia Nurses Association promotes quality and cost-effective care for patients, their families, and the community through public and professional education, research, and standards of practice. The Association encourages PeriAnesthesia nurses to enhance their expertise by conducting educational nursing conferences twice a year. It also supports members by providing scholarships for the NPANA Conference and the National Perianesthesia Conference. Many PeriAnesthesia nurses engage in missions and eagerly support their colleagues.
