Notes for Education promotes and supports music and art education and literacy in schools in Napa, CA. Despite the pandemic, we worked on three initiatives in 2020 to provide music education to local children. One of these was the Gargiulo Music Room, a dedicated space for students at River School that received funding in 2019 and underwent remodeling and outfiting in 2020 with new instruments and equipment.

Napa Valley Education Foundation - The Music Connection continues to be a primary program for NOTES providing low-cost rental to students to use during their academic year music lessons.
Calistoga Unified School - Supporting the schools in the Napa Valley is a core mission for NOTES. This year we provided a computer and supplies for the music program to enable the students to records their performances.
Vintage High School - Supporting the schools in the Napa Valley is a core mission for NOTES. This year we provided instruments to launch a guitar band project.
