Medical equipment projects are focused on providing medical equipment to support ukrainian healthcare facilities affected by the war and ensure patients have access to quality medical care. This initiative includes: equipment delivery: coordinating the logistics to deliver specialized equipment (such as ventilators, defibrillators, diagnostic tools, and rehabilitation devices) to healthcare facilities in regions most impacted by the war, training for medical personnel: conducting training sessions for healthcare workers on how to effectively use the new equipment, enhancing their ability to provide critical care. In the context of war in Ukraine, where many healthcare facilities have been damaged or destroyed, this project is crucial. The supply of essential medical equipment will not only restore healthcare services but also save lives, supporting both immediate and long-term healthcare needs. The project addresses gaps in emergency and routine care, offering hope and resilience to communities facing significant challenges in accessing quality healthcare.
The "Nova Ukraine" foundation has opened 50 extracurricular learning centers in Ukraine, which provide children with opportunities to engage in various educational programs, leisure activities, and peer socialization. We also support existing organizations who provide extracurricular education. The learning centers will be free, and open to visitors through february 2025. Each center will be fully equipped with child-friendly furniture, developmental toys and games, stationery supplies, as well as equipment to facilitate online learning such as computers, monitors, or tvs. The centers are staffed with dedicated administrators and instructors, who conduct regular classes, educational and entertainment events, workshops, and games.
Our disaster relief efforts program is dedicated to providing immediate and effective assistance to communities impacted by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Collaborating closely with trusted local partners and volunteers, we address critical needs arising from shelling, displacement, and infrastructure damage to restore safety and normalcy to affected regions. Through our focus on building resilient communities, we aim not only to respond to immediate crises but also to strengthen the capacity of communities to withstand and recover from future challenges. Among other fields of our involvement: emergency shelter and home repairs (rapid housing restoration, installation of mobile shelters), reconstruction of bomb shelters in schools and hospitals, solar panels and renewable energy initiatives, medical evacuation and transportation support (provision of medical evacuation vehicles, vehicle maintenance and supplies), winterization and heating solutions, water supply and purification, mine clearance support.
Nova Ukraine has many programs including supporting stem education, political advocacy for Ukraine, humanitarian support, animal welfare, and demining.
